Our experienced staff is in the office Monday–Friday, from 9–5. After 5:00, there is an answering service, so you can have any concerns addressed in a timely manner.
They are skilled in recognizing your condition and expediting your visit with the doctor, as needed. If a surgery is required, they will take care of all the necessary paperwork for you. This would include making all the appointments with your other doctors and with the hospital. They will also pre-authorize everything. We feel that you should concentrate on your health, and not the paperwork involved.
All insurance billing is done in the office by a business manager who has more than 20 years experience in the field. Patients are dealt with on a personal basis. You will never be treated as a number.
Please arrive early so that we can complete your initial paperwork. Also, please bring the following:
Dr. Arno D. Housman is a provider for Medicare and most major insurance plans, and provides insurance billing. You are responsible for co-payments or charges that are not covered by your insurance. If you have questions regarding billing or which insurance plans we accept, please contact us. Questions regarding insurance coverage and benefits should be directed to your employer or insurance company.
Our Notice of Privacy Practices describes how medical information about you may be used and disclosed and how you can get access to this information. It is given to all new patients, and a copy is available upon request.
